Gracie Barra Widnes was founded in 2016 by Professor Graeme Finneran, and has grown not only in strength but in the community! We offer classes for children aged 4 and above, we offer beginner classes every day of the week, womens self defence classes and fitness classes! Right here in the Heart of Widnes!
Gracie Barra Widnes is a certified Premium Gracie Barra School offering a wide range of Gracie Barra programmes, including children's martial arts classes from 4 years old and up, adult classes for a variety of knowledge levels from our beginner GB1 classes to our Advanced GB2 and GB3 classes, women's only Jiu-Jitsu classes and self defence classes.
Our Private classes to further deepen students' understanding of Jiu-Jitsu as well as our Personal training and strength and conditioning classes we have available!
Gracie Barra Widnes moved into its new location in November 2019 as our team grew from strength to strength, our facility in the heart of Widnes offer over 1700 sqft of bespokely built jiu-jitsu matted areas with the infamous Dollamur matting, we house a sprung floor matted area too.
Our school also has two showers facilities, male and female changing rooms, bathroom, a reception and refreshment area with coffee machine, Barbells and Nocco drinks and protein bars and shakes, as well as plenty of sofas to relax after training or an area for your families and parents. We also have our own in house Gracie Barra Pro Shop full of our uniforms and the latest equipment!
Gracie Barra Widnes has a dedicated team of world class instructors, highly experienced in teaching children and adults of all ability levels.
Our Gracie Barra Tiny and Future champions classes are designed to teach children and teens self defence and self discipline, as well as developing confidence! Our specifically tailored curriculum teaches everything from Anti Bullying to Competitive Sport Jiu-jitsu.
